1976 - 2026: Welcome to the 50th national meet of the Austin-Healey Club of America!
Join us in beautiful Galena, Illinois as we celebrate five decades of camaraderie, craftsmanship, and classic motoring. Conclave is the highlight of the Austin-Healey calendar. A week-long gathering of enthusiasts, owners, and fans from across North America. Whether it's your first time or your fifteenth, this year's event promises to be a memorable one.
Why Galena? Nestled in the rolling hills of northwest Illinois, Galena offers a charming historic downtown, winding country roaads, and scenic overlooks that are perfect for touring in a classic British roadster. It's a town that feels like it was built for Healeys. 2026 marks Galena's 200th birthday, making the venue for this event truly special.
A Club with Roots. This 50th national meet holds special significance. The Austin-Healey Club of America owes much of its early momentum to members of the Midwest Region, our proud hosts for 2026. There's a rich history here--and we're excited to honor it while creating new memories.

GALENA & THE DRIFTLESS REGION - A DRIVER'S PLAYGROUND
In 2026, Galena celebrates its 200th anniversary, and there’s no better way to mark the occasion than behind the wheel of a classic Healey. Located in the heart of the Driftless Region—an area untouched by glaciers—the landscape is a dream for driving enthusiasts. Picture ribbons of pavement winding through rolling hills, sweeping curves that open to panoramic river views, and elevation changes that make every mile an adventure. These are roads made for spirited tours, with routes that link charming small towns, scenic overlooks, and hidden historic sites. When you’re not driving, Galena’s preserved 19th-century Main Street offers shopping, dining, and live music, while nearby wineries, golf courses, hiking trails, and the Mississippi River provide plenty to explore. Plan to arrive early or stay after Conclave to join driving tours and experience some of the most exhilarating roads in the Midwest.

SCENIC DRIVES
Each year, the Conclave's driving tours are a highlight. In 2026, we'll take full advantage of Galena's winding roads and countryside views. Maps will be provided to ensure a great experience at your own pace.
GYMKHANA
Put your skills to the test in a safe, controlled environment. This timed event challenges drivers to navigate a cone course as quickly and precisely as possible. It's all in good fun, and all experience levels are welcome.
FUNKHANA
A whimsical, low-speed challenge course for teams of two. You might balance an egg on a spoon, wear goofy goggles, or complete a puzzle--all from the driver's seat. It's light hearted competition at its best.
BOAT TOUR ON THE CELEBRATION BELLE*
Join us for an evening of food and entertainment on the Mississippi. This can't-miss excursion promises to be a highlight of the week!
VALVE COVER RACES
Use your engineering creativity to build a gravity-powered racer using a valve cover from your engine. Then line up at the track and see how fast (or stylish) your build can go!
FIRST-TIMERS MEETUP & DRIVING TOUR
We know attending your first Conclave can be a little overwhelming. That's why we're hosting a laid-back welcome session where you can meet friendly faces, get your questions answered, and feel right at home from day one. Follow it up with a tour of Galena's scenic backroads.
RALLIES & TOURS
You'll have multiple opportunities to participate in scored rallies such as the TSD or Fun Rally. These events are scored, but are not speed events and will be at or below posted limits.
TECH AND GENERAL INTEREST SESSIONS
Come participate in a class on how an SU carburetor works. Listen to a speaker talk about SCCA racing and how it was in the 50s. Tour important historical Healeys, or come to our panel discussion comparing the past 50 years with what's in store for the next 50! Topics and times are listed in the event schedule.
ROAD TRIP TO ROAD AMERICA*
As it turns out, the VSCDA Ariens Art on Wheels Vintage Weekend takes place just a few hours away at Road America, and starts the day after Conclave 2026 officially closes! We've organized a block of rooms nearby, as well as a driving tour through the countryside to get there.
